The Traditional Paint Forum’ Annual Conference
One
of the main achievements of the Traditional Paint Forum has been
the series of extremely successful conferences it has organised
since 1995.
These have proved to be a useful forum for communication between
conservation bodies, architectural historians, museum curators,
paint manufacturers, housepainters and craftsmen.
Most of the conferences have been in historic buildings which
have provided examples of extant decorative finishes and have
included practical demonstrations of painting methods and materials.
